"Kendal was recommended to me by a friend, so I had a lot of confidence the she would be able to help me and would be friendly to work with. I was not at all disappointed. Kendal was just lovely; she listened to what I was after and was able to completely customize two different looks for me.
I was getting married in Malaysia so I needed to be able to do my own makeup. I was confident of applying make-up as I had done many a dance eisteddfod with stage make-up but I wanted someone who could help me select the right products for my special day. Kendall gave me step by step instructions on how to apply the make-up. Which I followed strictly on the morning of the wedding as I was too nervous to be able to think properly!
I had spent the days before the wedding trying out the different products and experimenting with the eye shadow colors to be comfortable with applying the make-up. Everyone commented on how beautiful the colors were which I can give all credit to Kendal.
I was extremely happy with the support and training that Kendal gave me. She clearly understood what I wanted and delivered a perfect result. Combating even the extreme humidity that was experienced in Malaysia, the make-up lasted and matched my wedding outfits beautifully. "Firstly Amanda and I would like to say a big thank you for making us look so great!!
I came across Kendal while having glamour photography. I'd never had my makeup professionally done before and was nervous and excited. In no time at all, Kendal put me at my ease and made me feel special. I was really impressed by the techniques used, her priority for hygiene, her ongoing explanations of the process and titbits of advice on makeup for me - which she did not need to do. All through this, Kendal's main focus was making sure I was happy with what she was doing and achieving a result we were both happy with. Kendal worked to highlight the good and downplay what I thought were not so good and this she achieved! The one thing which really impressed me was Kendal did not try to take any shortcuts and was constantly checking my makeup during the different poses and outfits to ensure it remained looking great and suited the different outfits. I was so happy with the result and impressed with Kendal as a person, her professionalism, wealth of knowledge and varied experience that I booked her to do my daughter Amanda's Debutante makeup.
Amanda thoroughly enjoyed the experience of having her makeup done as she has not really experimented much with makeup before. Amanda found, like me, Kendal down to earth and able to give her advice and a look which fully complemented her gown and hairstyle which lasted for the entire length of the Ball without needing to be retouched.
Amanda and I are looking forward to doing lessons with Kendal to work on our own individual makeup techniques to suit our lifestyles. We can hardly wait!

"My cast, production crew and I were preparing for some very expensive and high profile production and headshots. If we didn't look right, our advertising would be in vain. In the first five minutes of meeting Kendal, I knew that my cast and I were in good hands. She was not only totally focused on her clients needs, but also their feelings. I was married on July 15, 2006, at the Estates of Sunnybrook in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
I came upon Kendal's web site after seeing some gorgeous print photos that I saw at my dressmakers. Kendal was prompt and easy to get a hold of. She was available by email and phone. Our initial consultation was loads of fun, and taught me a lot about how to enhance my best features.
My wedding day came, and as with every wedding, it was full of some surprises. It was horribly hot, we were late and everyone was nervous. Kendal arrived at my house very very early to greet me. She effortlessly applied beautiful makeup in the same tones to all of my bridesmaids. It was amazing to see how she could apply the same colors to so many different skin tones and make it look flawless. My makeup and hair was beautiful and survived one of the hottest days on Toronto's record! Kendal went beyond the call of duty by spontaneously driving us to venue when our transportation fell through! "I had requested the services of Kendal for my personal use to teach me how to apply makeup to suit and enhance my features.
During this session which spanned over 3 hours Kendal taught me application, colour and techniques that work for me. The end result was a total transformation with before and after shots. Kendal worked on key features of my face and emphasized on enhancing these features. The key areas were my eyes and cheekbones. Results were stunning – my face from what I consider average (I am very critical of myself) was turned into a movie star appearance and I couldn't point out which specific element of the make-up caused this difference, but it was like magic. After the session was over Kendal gave me a blank facial drawing where she then shaded in and labeled the different areas with make up followed by personal make-up notes for my future use.
Kendal's integrity, knowledge, creativity, professionalism and attention to detail is reflected in her work as a professional make-up artist. Kendal has a vision how one's face will look when finished before she starts and she works with her clients to achieve the ultimate results."
